Ch 90A – Fire Protection Code

90A-1 Adoption of Fire Prevention Code

That a certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the Fire Inspector/Chief of the Town of Conway, being marked and designated as "The BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, Ninth Edition, 1993," as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. be and hereby is adopted as the Fire Prevention Code of the Town of Conway in the state of New Hampshire; for the control of buildings, structures and premises as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 90A-3 this Chapter.

90A-2. Inconsistent Ordinances

All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are to be administered with the stricter being applied.

90A-3. Additions, Insertions and Changes

section F-101.1. Title. These regulations shall be known as the Fire Prevention Code of Town of Conway hereinafter referred to as "this code."

90-4. Saving Clause

That nothing in this Ordinance or in the Fire Prevention Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any lawsuit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby administered as cited in section 90A-2 of this Ordinance; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this Ordinance.

90A-5. Date of Effect

That the Town Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law; and this Ordinance shall take full force and be in effect immediately after this date of final passage and approval.
