Ch 16 - Conservation Commission

Article I - Creation Pursuant to Statute

[Article 5, adopted 3-10-70] by the Annual Town Meeting, reads as follows:

"To see if the Town should have a Conservation Commission, as permitted under the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated, Chapter 36-A (Supp.), Vol. 1."

Article II - Funding

[Article 40 adopted, 3-8-77] by the Annual Town Meeting, reads as follows:

"To see if the Town will vote to establish a permanent Conservation commission Fund in which the appropriations for the conservation commission will be allowed to accumulate from year to year in accordance with the provisions of RSA 36A: 5."

An amendment prior to adoption of Article 40 deleted the word "permanent" which applied to the Conservation commission Fund.
